Envelopes

The recycled paper used in our envelopes is made from 100% post-consumer waste, and a few of the colours can vary slightly from batch to batch. These are not dyed or bleached using any chlorine, the colour is achieved by matching raw waste materials and so can vary in shade. We therefore cannot always guarantee a perfect colour match from order to order.

 

Compostable vegetable starch bags

All my products are packaged in a compostable protective bag to ensure it arrives to you in the best condition.

These bags are fully biodegradable and compostable which means that they break down to CO2, H20 and biomass which can then be reused in the eco system to make new plants. This will happen in either in home or commercial composting but in commercial composting the temperature will be higher, and the process is much quicker. In a colder home composter, it will just take longer. They are made from vegetable starches (potato, sugar beet etc.)

 

Thank you cards and packing slips!

The paper we use for our ‘Thank you cards’, and packing slips are both FSC® certified – The materials used to make the card have been ethically sourced from well-managed and sustainable forests. It contains 5% hemp fibres, 40% recycled material and 55% environmentally friendly fibres.

Sticker labels, adhesives and Postage labels

Our Sticker labels and postage labels are made from 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable and compostable. The stickers have water-based adhesives.

Please note there are times when I use TesaFilm – Eco clear tape which made from fully recycled materials. TesaFilm eco & clear is based on a transparent PVC-free film made of 100 per cent recycled Polypropylene. It is wound on a plastic core which is also made from 100 per cent recycled plastics. The adhesive coating of the self-adhesive tape is based on a solvent-free formula. I only use this option when occasionally run out of self-adhesive label sheets. (Unfortunately, this has happened before due to the current global situation.)

Gift Tags and Natural Cotton/ Jute Twine

Our Gift tags are made from 100% post-consumer waste. These are not dyed or bleached using any chlorine, the colour is achieved by matching raw waste materials.

The Cotton / Jute twines are 100% natural and biodegradable.

 

 

Postal Envelopes

We use hardboard “do not bend” envelopes for cards and prints so they don’t bend during delivery. These envelopes are Easy to recycle and fully biodegradable due to being made from 100% paper.,. For brooches, calendars and ornaments we use Recyclable Paper Padded Mailer 100% recyclable made from Renewable resource (kraft paper).
